Polly Scattergood releases the Bunny Club EP on 16th November 2009.
Featuring versions of tracks from her debut album, Polly Scattergood, the
EP opens with a mix of Bunny Club by Nerina Pallot and Andy Chatterley (aka
We Are The Chatterleys) and includes Tara Busch’s Analog Suicide Mix of
Nitrogen Pink, the acoustic demo version of Please Don’t Touch and
Nitrogen Pink and an edit of Unforgiving Arms.
Polly Scattergood is a rare talent, a musician who can make the disturbing
sound delightful. She might sing on her critically acclaimed debut album
about suicidal tendencies, sadness in the air, spitting on her French
knickers and being called a whore, but she does so in such an
idiosyncratically alluring, soft little-girl voice, one of ravaged
innocence, and she places her startling images in such pretty pop
contexts, that you can’t help being seduced.
